Arno Gorke

Arno Görke (born December 18, 1923 in Valparaíso , Chile , † October 5, 1992 in Cologne ) was a German radio play speaker , stage and television actor and comedian.

Life

From 1957 to 1988 he was one of the big names at the Theater am Dom in Cologne . In addition to his theater engagement in Cologne, he played in numerous television plays and films. He became popular all over the republic through his appearance with the rabbit Caesar in several series on ARD.

He was also often used as a radio play speaker, mainly for WDR , mostly in supporting roles, including in the Paul Temple multi-part series Paul Temple and the Geneva case by Francis Durbridge .

His death in 1992 was the result of cancer . The course of the disease and its treatment led to baldness, but this did not prevent him from continuing his job; After his last season at the Theater am Dom in Cologne, he made guest appearances for four years with great success in Berlin, Hamburg and Cologne in tabloids .
