history
The approximately 312 hectares large Waldhufendorf was 1,378 as Arnoldisgune first mentioned. The name is derived from the personal name Arnold . Arnsgrün belonged to the Voigtsberg office until the 19th century . From 1875 the village belonged to the Oelsnitz administrative authority and then to the Oelsnitz district until it was incorporated into the city of Adorf on July 1, 1950.

The Lutherans from Arnsgrün belong to the Bad Elster parish in the Plauen church district of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Saxony . On the Catholic side, the place is assigned to the parish of St. Joseph (Adorf) in the diocese of Dresden-Meißen , which also has a branch church in Bad Elster ( St. Elisabeth ).

The Arnsgrün stop was on the Aš – Adorf railway line . The German section of the track in 1945 after destruction of the bridge over the White Elster shut down .
