Volkmar Hellfritzsch

Volkmar Otto Hellfritzsch (born March 5, 1935 in Plauen ) is a German name researcher and educator .

Life

After completing his Abitur in his hometown of Plauen, Hellfritzsch studied German, English / American, pedagogy and psychology at the Karl Marx University in Leipzig from 1953 to 1958 . He then worked from 1958 to 1961 as a research assistant and teacher for German at EOS Zeulenroda . This was followed by brief activities as a lecturer at the Herder Institute and at the German Institute of Leipzig University, where he studied Vogtland personal names in 1963 on the material of the Plauen and Oelsnitz districts . to the Dr. phil. received his doctorate . From 1963 to 1991 he worked as a teacher for German and English at EOS in the small town of Stollberg in the Ore Mountains . Honors

Hellfritzsch was awarded the Leibniz Medal of the Academy of Sciences of the GDR in 1988 . In the same year he was appointed senior teacher .
