Arthur Owen (born March 21, 1915 in London , † April 13, 2000 in Wexham , Buckinghamshire ) was a British automobile racing driver .
Career
As early as the 1950s, Owen, who worked as a jeweler on the Channel Island of Jersey , took part in various hill climbs.
In the 1960 Formula 1 season , Owen participated as a privateer in the Italian Grand Prix in his Cooper T45 . Although he was able to qualify for the race in eleventh place, he was eliminated on the first lap due to an accident caused by a brake failure.
In 1962, Owen won the British Hillclimb Championship in a Cooper T53 .
