Artjom Alexandrowitsch Chadschibekow ( Russian Артём Александрович Хаджибеков ; born April 20, 1970 in Obninsk , Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian sports shooter .

successes

Artyom Hadschibekow, who started for CSKA Moscow , took part in five Olympic Games . At the 1996 Olympic Games he came with the air rifle with 594 points as third in the qualification in the final, in which he scored another 101.7 points and with a total of 695.7, a new Olympic record, ahead of Wolfram Waibel and Jean-Pierre Amat Olympic champion has been. With the small-bore rifle he finished 13th in the three-position fight and 20th in the prone position. Four years later he reached the finals in all three competitions in Sydney . With the air rifle he placed, with a total of 695.1 points, behind Cai Yalin on the silver rank. In the prone position with the small caliber he came in sixth, while he just missed another medal in the three-position fight in fourth. In 2004 he did not get past 24th place with the air rifle in Athens . In the prone stop with the small bore, he was missing one point to take part in the finals and finished the competition in ninth place. The three-position fight ended Chadschibekow in fifth place. At the games in Beijing in 2008 and in London in 2012 , he only took part in the two small-caliber competitions, but he was no longer able to place in the top ten.

Chadschibekow was world champion with the air rifle in the individual and the team competition in Barcelona in 1998 , while he won bronze with the small-bore team in the three-position fight. In 1994 he had already won bronze with the air rifle team in Milan . In 2002 in Lahti he won titles in the team competitions with the air rifle and the small-bore three-position fight. Four years later he became world champion in the latter discipline both individually and with the team in Zagreb .
