Aryam Abreu Delgado (born July 9, 1978 in Güines ) is a Cuban chess master .

Abreu lives in his birthplace Güines, 50 km southeast of Havana , in the province of Mayabeque , which emerged in 2010 from the dissolved province of Havana . In 2007 he was fourth at the state championships. The following year he was able to finish the Capablanca tournament in Havana in a shared first place. His greatest success so far was the victory at the Carlos-Torre-Repetto tournament in Mexico in December 2012. Abreu took part in the 2001 World Team Championship with the Cuban national team .
