Yusnel Bacallao Alonso

Yusnel Bacallao Alonso (born June 21, 1988 in Colón ) is a Cuban chess player .

He played for Cuba at two Chess Olympiads : 2012 and 2018 .

In the 2017 World Chess Cup , he failed in the first round to Vladimir Fedoseyev .

In 2010 he was awarded the title of International Master (IM) and in 2012 the title of Grand Master (GM). His highest rating was 2605 in January 2018.
