Arzay is a town and commune Déléguée in the French municipality of Porte-des-Bonnevaux with 229 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes .
The municipality of Arzay merged with Nantoin , Commelle and Semons to form the Commune nouvelle Porte-des-Bonnevaux on January 1, 2019 . It belonged to the Vienne arrondissement and was part of the canton of Bièvre (until 2015: canton of La Côte-Saint-André ). The community belonged to the Communauté de communes Bièvre Isère .
geography
Arzay is located about 25 kilometers east-southeast of Vienne . The municipality of Arzay was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Villeneuve-de-Marc in the north and northwest, Lieudieu in the north and northeast, Semons in the east, Ornacieux in the southeast and Bossieu in the south and west.
