Commelle is a town and commune Déléguée in the French municipality of Porte-des-Bonnevaux with 943 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes .
On January 1, 2019, the municipality of Commelle merged with Nantoin , Semons and Arzay to form the Commune nouvelle Porte-des-Bonnevaux. It belonged to the Vienne arrondissement and was part of the canton of Bièvre (until 2015: canton of La Côte-Saint-André ). The community belonged to the Communauté de communes Bièvre Isère .
geography
Commelle is about 29 kilometers east-southeast of Vienne . The Gère rises in the northwest of the Commune déléguée . The municipality of Commelle was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Châtonnay in the north, Nantoin in the east, La Côte-Saint-André in the south and south-east, Ornacieux in the south and south-west and Semons in the west.
