Nantoin is a town and commune Déléguée in the French municipality of Porte-des-Bonnevaux with 481 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes .
On January 1, 2019, the municipality of Nantoin merged with Semons , Commelle and Arzay to form the Commune nouvelle Porte-des-Bonnevaux. It belonged to the Vienne arrondissement and was part of the canton of Bièvre (until 2015: canton of La Côte-Saint-André ). The community belonged to the Communauté de communes Bièvre Isère .

Nantoin is about 32 kilometers east-southeast of Vienne . The municipality of Nantoin was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Champier in the north and east, Mottier in the southeast, La Côte-Saint-André in the south, Commelle in the west and Châtonnay in the north-west.
