Ashley Crow
Ashley Diane Crow (born August 25, 1960 in Birmingham , Alabama ) is an American actress , best known for her role in the series Heroes .
life and career
Ashley Crow attended the University of Alabama and then graduated from Auburn University in 1982 . She is a sister college of the Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at Auburn University. Crow first appeared in a small role on the US soap opera Guiding Light in the 1980s, followed by a longer role as Beatrice McKechnie in Young and Passionate - How Life Is Played . She later co- starred alongside Parker Stevenson in the short-lived science fiction series Rehearsal . Since then, she has made guest appearances on various television series , including Dark Angel , Everyone Loves Raymond , A Touch of Heaven , Party of Five and The Mentalist . She also had a recurring role as Sandra Bennet in the series Heroes , in which she played the wife of Noah Bennet ( Jack Coleman ). She played a role in films such as Minority Report , Little Big Boss and The Good Son, among others .
Crow's first husband was actor Bill Shanks , who was also an actor in As The World Turns . They divorced in 1993. Crow is now married to Heroes actor Matthew John Armstrong , who played the role of Ted Sprague. From September 2011 to May, she starred as Jane Blake , Cassie's grandmother, on the television series The Secret Circle . Their son Pete Crow-Armstrong, born in 2002, is a baseball player and was selected in the first round of the 2020 MLB Draft by the New York Mets .
