Attert (lux .: Atert, French: Attert, Walloon: Ater) is a Belgian municipality on the river of the same name in the Arlon arrondissement of the province of Luxembourg .

It consists of the villages of Attert, Luxeroth, Nobressart, Nothomb, Schadeck, Thiaumont and Tontelange .

Attert is a traditional Luxembourgish-speaking municipality in the Areler Land . That is why there are sometimes bilingual street signs.
