August Greim

August Greim (born June 6, 1895 in Helmbrechts , † January 29, 1975 in Naila ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending primary school , August Greim was trained as a businessman at the advanced training school. On April 9, 1926, he joined the NSDAP ( membership number 33,691), where he became district leader in Naila in 1930, among other things . As a member of the SA he achieved the rank of standard leader.

From April 24, 1932 to November 19, 1933, Greim was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament . From November 1933 until the end of the Nazi regime in spring 1945 he was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag as a member of constituency 26 (Franconia). Since 1924 he was also a city councilor in Lichtenberg in Upper Franconia .

From 1933 Greim was active as a representative of the Bavarian Ostmark in the organizational management of the NSDAP at the Nuremberg Nazi party rallies and headed, among other things, the department for mass quarters.

On October 15, 1937 he was NSDAP district leader in Coburg and on December 17, 1938 Coburg Lord Mayor . For the unification of city and party leadership, which had been banned since 1937, he received a special permit from the Reich leadership of the NSDAP. He left the organizational leadership of the Nazi party rallies.

On February 15, 1950, Greim was classified as a minor offender in a panel proceedings . Most recently he lived in Lichtenberg, where he ran a textile factory.
