Auput II. (Also Iupet II. Or Awapet II. ) Was from about 754/753 to 727 BC. Chr. Pharaoh (king) and from 727 to about 715 v. Chr. Nomarch of the kingdom of Leontopolis ( Hat-Mehit Gau ) in Nile that the areas of Tanis , Mendes , Athribis and Bubastis adjacent.

Harnacht II from Mendes in the 11th year of Scheschonq V's reign is documented as the father ; Auput's great-grandfather Harnacht I. in the 22nd and 30th year of Scheschonq III's reign . With the name Auputs are to be assigned: A donation stele of a grand duke of the Meshvesh , Smendes; inscribed bronze hinge; Faience tile (see picture) depicting Auput II with a blue crown; Granite pedestal from Leontopolis , which was probably set up by his son, Prince Padiaset .

Auput II refers from the year 736/735 BC. One date of the graffito in Wadi Gasus with the mention of Amenirdis I and Schepenupet II (year 12 of Pije , year 19 of Auput II). In the meantime, more graffiti from his ninth and twelfth year of reign were found.

Domination

He is first in the year 727 BC. BC with Osorkon IV of Bubastis ally of Tefnachte of Sais in the fight against Pije. But he has to submit to this.
