Aurélie Chaboudez (born May 9, 1993 in Montbéliard ) is a French athlete who specializes in the 400-meter hurdles and was also successful with the French 4-by-400-meter relay.

Athletic career

Aurélie Chaboudez took part in the premiere of the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore in 2010 , where she won the gold medal in the 400 meter hurdles and clearly prevailed against the Danish Stina Troest . In 2011 she won the silver medal at the European Junior Championships in Tallinn, Estonia and finished fifth with the French relay. In 2012 she was able to win the silver medal at the Junior World Championships in Barcelona . She set a new French junior record of 57.14 s and only had to admit defeat to Jamaican Janieve Russell .

In 2013 at the U23 European Championships in Tampere, Finland , she just barely missed another medal at a major event when she finished fourth. Two years later she won the bronze medal over the hurdles at the U23 European Championships in Tallinn and was disqualified in the final with the French relay. At the World Championships in Beijing , she made it to the semifinals .

In June 2016, Chaboudez reached the semi-finals of the European Championships in Amsterdam .
