history
In 1330 , äbüttel was first mentioned in a document as the Asesbuetle . It belongs to the villages with the name ending -büttel , which only occur in northern Germany. In the French era , Ausbüttel belonged to the canton of Rötgesbüttel, which existed from 1810 to 1813 . Since 1885, Übüttel has belonged to the then newly formed Gifhorn district. Since 1889, a railway line has passed throughäbüttel, the route of which was relocated to the north of Übüttel in 1913 to the east. After 1945, towards the north-west of the village, towards the north-west of the village, it expanded. On March 1, 1974, the community of Unterbüttel lost its independence and was incorporated into Ribbesbüttel. The former village inn was closed and after 1945 replaced by the Zur Linde restaurant opposite , later renamed Poseidon and now operated as Diner ROUTE 4 .
