The Kaarst motorway junction (abbreviation: AK Kaarst ; short: Kaarst junction ) is a motorway junction in North Rhine-Westphalia . It connects the highways 52 (section Düsseldorf - Roermond ) and 57 ( Cologne - Krefeld ) with each other.

The motorway junction is about ten kilometers west of Düsseldorf city center in the urban area of Kaarst on the border with the city of Neuss .
Design and state of development
The Kaarst motorway junction has the shape of a clover leaf . The A 52 has four lanes to the west and six lanes to the east. The A 57 has six lanes at the intersection and to the north. To the south it is seven lanes, with four lanes towards Cologne and three towards Krefeld.
