Map with all coordinates: Autoceļš A7 is one of Latvia's state highways "State Main Road" ( Lat .: Valsts galvenie A utoceļi ). It connects the capital Riga with Bauska and the Lithuanian border at Grenctāle . At the border, the road continues through the Lithuanian A10 . The A7 is part of the European route 67 , the so-called Via Baltica . The total length is 86 kilometers. The maximum speed is set at 90 km / h. The average traffic volume was 11,107 vehicles per day in 2010.
Highway Similarly , the A7 is expanded only in the area of Riga, the other path is drivable with a roadway and two lanes. In the years from 2005 to 2006 the A7 was renewed on the sections from 25th to 43rd and from 67th to 85th kilometers.
In 2012, a two-kilometer section in Iecava (km 42.90 to km 44.80) was rebuilt. The renovation of another 15-kilometer section between Riga and Kekava started in 2012 and was completed in 2013. The construction of a bypass around Kekava is to begin in 2017 [obsolete] . The bypass is to be built like a motorway. The project should be completed in 2019 [obsolete] .
