International Award of Merit in Structural Engineering
The International Award of Merit in Structural Engineering is an honor given by the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE) since 1976 .
The prize is awarded to individuals who made outstanding contributions to the field of structural engineering (English structural engineering have helped). Particular emphasis is placed on the social benefit. Areas of work include planning, drafting, construction, materials, equipment, training, research, government and management.
