Axel Stosberg (born July 18, 1967 in Flensburg ) is a German actor and musician .

Life

Axel Stosberg is a trained masseur and watchmaker. He came to the Niederdeutsche Bühne Flensburg in the 1990s through the Orpheus Theater in his native city . The resulting acquaintance with actors from the Ohnsorg Theater earned Stosberg his first role on the Hamburg stage in 2001. From 2006 to 2009 he had a permanent contract there, after which he worked as a freelancer again. Commitments took him to the Fritz Rémond Theater in Frankfurt or to the comedy Winterhuder Fährhaus . As a guest he also played at the Ohnsorg Theater again and again.

In addition to occasional work in front of the camera and roles in radio play productions, Axel Stosberg is active as a musician and as such a founding member of the group Santiano , which has been successful in the fields of pop , Irish folk , shanty and hit music since 2011 .
