Bárbara Andrea Buenahora (born November 27, 1977 in Mar del Plata ) is a former triathlete from Argentina and Ironman winner (2003).

Career

As a strong cyclist, the Argentinian Bárbara Buenahora was able to qualify for a starting place at the Ironman Hawaii for the first time in 1998 (3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.195 km running) and was second in her age group (W20-24) at the Ironman World Championships .

In May 2003 she won the Ironman Brasil . In 2013, the then 35-year-old became the national runner-up in the long-distance triathlon. Bárbara Buenahora has not appeared internationally since 2013. Today she works as a trainer.
