Böhmzeil is a district and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Gmünd in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 136 building areas with 42,763 m² and 87 gardens on 31,618 m² in the cadastral community Böhmzeil , in 1989/1990 there were 134 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 455 and in 2009/2010 there were 242 buildings on 639 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 198 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 97 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 170 hectares and 96 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 100 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 95 hectares. Böhmzeil's average soil climate number is 20.8 (as of 2010).
