The Etten-Leur Station is a transit station of the Dutch railway company NS in the northern Dutch town of Etten-Leur .

history

The station was opened on December 11, 1854 with the section from Roosendaal to Etten-Leur of the Roosendaal – Breda line. The station was closed on September 25, 1940 and only reopened on May 30, 1965. There is only one line at the train station, it used to run from Vlissingen to Zwolle . In 2006 the route from Zwolle to Arnhem and from Vlissingen to Roosendaal was shortened. Since the end of 2008, however, the line has been running to Zwolle again.
