The station Ziegelbrücke is the station of the Swiss village of brick bridge . It was created with the construction of the links bank Zurichseebahn and was put into operation in 1875. It is to the right of the Linth Canal , although a Ziegelbrücke- Urnen train station has also been considered. Today he is the junction of the left bank Seebahn, the railway bridge brick-Sargans , the railroad line Rapperswil-Ziegelbrücke and the railway Weesen-Linthal . The last two routes mentioned are regional lines, while a main axis with international traffic extends between Zurich and Chur .

On the south side, the Linth Canal, a traction power line and a main road run parallel to the railway line . This main road is the Swiss postal bus service to and from Weesen-Amden frequented for the bus operation. There is a spacious station building, a freight expedition and a works yard on the railway site. Tracks 1–4 are used for freight traffic and 5–10 for passenger traffic. There are two sidings behind track 10.
