The Balesfelder Bach is a 10.5 km long orographically left tributary of the Nims in the Rhineland-Palatinate Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm ( Germany ).

The Balesfelder Bach rises as a Tannenbach in the Waldeifel (also Kyllbuger Waldeifel) at an altitude of 490 m above sea level. NHN . The source is in the peat fens below the southwest slope of the Kahler Köpfchen ( 537.2 m above sea level ) about two kilometers northeast of the Neustraßburg district of Burbach . At Neustraßburg the brook takes on the Katzenbach from the right and is then also called Weuerbach or Weiherbach .
The Balesfelder Bach flows mainly to the southwest, flowing into von Seffern at 315 m above sea level. NHN in the Nims coming there from the north .
Catchment area
The Balesfelder Bach drains a 15.536 km² catchment area via Nims, Prüm, Sauer , Moselle and Rhine to the North Sea .
