Jonathan Calculator (born April 11, 1972 in Nutley , New Jersey , † April 12, 2016 in Spring Lake Heights , New Jersey) was an American wrestler . He was best known by his ring name Balls Mahoney .
Private
Calculator and his girlfriend had a son named Christopher, who was born on November 22, 2007. Jonathan Calculator publicly confessed to being a Satanist and died of a heart attack on April 12, 2016 at his home in Spring Lake Heights, New Jersey. In October 2016, after an autopsy of his brain, it was announced that he suffered from the neurodegenerative disease chronic traumatic encephalopathy CTE. CTE is caused by repeated head blows that lead to traumatic disorders such as concussions.
Career
Beginnings
Jonathan Calculator grew up in New Jersey with the late Chris Candido . Together with his friend Chris, he began to learn the basics of wrestling from his grandfather Chuck Richards at the age of twelve.
Independent and NWA New Jersey
Calculator had his first paid match back in 1987 at the age of 15 when he competed in various independent leagues under the name John Calculator .
When he came of age, calculator signed up for the NWA New Jersey , where he was finally able to win his first major title. In this promotion he held the local television championship title.
World Wrestling Council and Smoky Mountain Wrestling
Jonathan Calculator went to Puerto Rico a little later , where he was employed by the World Wrestling Council under the ring name Abbdudah Singh . There he was involved in a brutal feud with Abdullah the Butcher .
When Jonathan Calculator was committed to Smoky Mountain Wrestling in 1994 , he was involved in a feud with Chris Candido. He also briefly teamed up with Mick Foley and called himself Boo Bradley . In the SMW, Calculator was able to hold the TV championship title twice.
World Wrestling Federation and Extreme Championship Wrestling
From 1995 to 1997 , rechner was committed to the World Wrestling Federation as a so-called noble jobber , where he competed under the ring names Boo Bradley and Xanta Klaus .
In 1997, Calculator signed up as Boo Bradley in Extreme Championship Wrestling . There he originally got the gimmick of a homosexual rocker . But since this gimmick flopped with the fans, Calculator designed a gimmick himself under which he now wanted to compete. The result was that Jonathanrechner now took on as the hardcore wrestler Balls Mahony and this gimmick should also be his most successful. He also formed a tag team with Axl Rotten . This team was nicknamed "The Hardcore Chair Swinging Freaks". During an ECW tour of Japan, he met the Japanese wrestler Masato Tanaka at FMW , with whom he has been close friends since then. Later they were both in a tag team, which was then able to secure the ECW Tag Team Title. Later he also competed with Spike Dudley as a tag team and both were allowed to win the tag team title twice.
Independent and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling
After ECW had to file for bankruptcy in 2001, Computer worked for various smaller organizations. Together with former ECW wrestlers Tommy Dreamer , Sabu , Jerry Lynn and Tajiri , Calculator took part in a tournament for the Combat Zone Wrestling promotion . He received longer engagements in leagues such as USA Pro Wrestling , Independent Wrestling Association and Juggalo Championship Wrestling . In most of these doctoral degrees, computers were also able to win titles.
Calculator was also briefly employed at Total Nonstop Action Wrestling , where he formed a tag team with Sandman .
World Wrestling Entertainment and World Wrestling Council
In 2005, Computer was also present at the WWE Pay-Per-View “ ECW One Night Stand ”. From 2006, the computer also belonged to the WWE ECW roster. Since the beginning of his feud program with Kevin Thorn , he has appeared on the ECW shows several times. After it was completed, Calculator was incorporated into a new feud program with Snitsky . On June 4, 2007, calculator received a title match for the ECW World Champion Title, which he could not win. In April 2008, he was released by the WWE.
After his discharge from the WWE, Jonathan Calculator signed up again to the World Wrestling Council. He had his first match there in October 2008. At WWC he was also allowed to win the hardcore title.
Independent and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling
For a while, Computer was a member of the New York City- based hardcore promotion FTW Wrestling . On August 8, 2010, Calculator took part in the ECW reunion show TNAW Hardcore Justice - The Last Stand . But since his previous ring name is a trademark of World Wrestling Entertainment , his name was changed to Kahoneys that evening .
