Local history
There is hardly any evidence of the history of the place once called Beutnerdorf . In 1837 the community was divided into Beutnerdorf A and Beutnerdorf B and only merged again in 1913.
On July 16, 1874, was District Beutnerdorf built, the - 1913 renamed "District Lehmanen" - to 1945 and county Ortelsburg in Administrative district Königsberg (1905: Administrative district Allenstein ) in the Prussian province of East Prussia belonged. In 1910 a total of 3,394 inhabitants were registered in the municipality.
On July 1, 1913, Beutnerdorf was incorporated into the municipality of Ortelsburg . In the same year, the district of Beutnerdorf was renamed "District of Lehmanen " ( Lemany in Polish ).
In 1945 the city of Szczytno in consequence of the war with the entire south was East Prussia to Poland transferred. Beutnerdorf belonged to the city now called "Szczytno", then with the name "Bartna Strona". Before long, the name was no longer mentioned as a part of the city, and the place is considered to be part of the city of Szczytno. Only the arterial road to Szczycionek (Sczycionnek , 1938 to 1945 Waldsee) bears this name.
District of Beutnerdorf (1874–1913)
When it was set up, the Beutnerdorf district included four places, and in the end there were two:

Until 1945, Beutnerdorf was incorporated into the Protestant Church of Ortelsburg in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union and into the Roman Catholic parish church "Mariä Himmelfahrt", which was built in Beutnerdorf at the time, in what was then the Diocese of Warmia . The relationship to both churches continues in today's Szczytno - within the Masuria diocese of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland and the current Archdiocese of Warmia .
