European Basketball Championship 2007 / Division B

The B Division is the lower in two-stage qualification system for the 2007 European Championships . In 2007, Division B comprised 14 European national basketball teams. Among them are 12 teams that played in Division B in 2005 but did not advance there. The Maltese team did not participate in 2007. In Division A 2005 , the Dutch national team was relegated to Division B. Poland participated in Division A in 2007, although the team was relegated to Division B in 2005. Great Britain took part in Division B as the 14th team after it and the British states (England, Wales and Scotland) were not active in qualifying for the EM 2005 . Division B games took place from September 2 to 16, 2006 and August 19 to September 15, 2007.

Qualifying Round

The teams played in 3 groups (A, B, C). The three group winners and the best runners qualify for the play-off matches for promotion to the Division A .
