The German-language first broadcast took place from November 24, 1989 to August 26, 1990, mixed with the first season, on the station Sat.1 . The three-part episode Batman's Best Role was first broadcast on Sat.1 shortly after the start of the third season. The three-part episode The Zodiac Crimes and the double episodes Great King of the Nile and The Black Widow were only released in 1992 from August 8 to October 18 on the same channel.
