The Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport ( IATA : BTR , ICAO : KBTR ) is the airport of the city of Baton Rouge in the US -amerikanischen State Louisiana . It is located around 10 km north of the city center in East Baton Rouge Parish .
The former Harding Army Air Field was used as a training airfield by the United States Army Air Forces during World War II . Today, apart from the taxiways, there are hardly any traces of it.

- 4L / 22R - 2316 m long and 46 m wide with concrete paving
- 4R / 22L - 1158 m long and 23 m wide with asphalt pavement
- 13/31 - 2135 m long and 46 m wide with asphalt surface

Air traffic is monitored by air traffic controllers in the airport control tower . In addition, the airport currently has 3100 m² of cargo handling area, which is currently being expanded to 6300 m².
