Believers Never Die - Greatest Hits is the first compilation album by the American pop rock band Fall Out Boy . It was released in German-speaking countries on November 27, 2009 on Island Records and is the last release of the band before their break in 2010.
Emergence
Most of the tracks come from the band's previously released albums, but Alpha Dog and From Now on We Are Enemies also recorded two new songs for the album. With Yule Shoot Your Eye Out and Growing Up , two previously unreleased songs were also released as bonus material on the CD. There is also a deluxe version that contains the CD as well as a DVD with comments by the band and bonus material. A music video was released for the single Alpha Dog , which consists of a compilation of old music videos and videos from tours.
The album was released on November 17, 2009 in the USA, on November 27, 2009 it was released in German-speaking countries.

Chart placements
Compared to other Fall Out Boy albums, the album only reached lower chart positions. The highest ranking was achieved in Australia, where the album debuted at number 25 on the charts and lasted two weeks. In the US, the album stayed in the charts for a week and reached number 77. The album was also in the British charts for a week, but only reached number 88 there. The album also hit the charts in Ireland, but only made it to number 79.

The album received mixed ratings from music critics , but mostly the ratings remained average.
The album received a very positive rating from Allmusic . Critic Stephen Thomas Erlewine writes about the album that Fall Out Boy shows with the compilation that they are an integral part of mainstream rock of the decade. The overall rating is 4.5 out of 5 possible stars.
Deborah Katona from Laut.de takes a different opinion. She thinks that too much emphasis was placed on suitability for the masses in the selection of songs and that the strengths of the band are lost as a result. This makes the album seem too boring and boring to her. It only awards 2 out of 5 stars as a grade.
Plattentests.de rates the album with an average of 6 out of 10 points. Critic Sven Cadario writes about the album that the record would not be for real rock fans, but the songs are otherwise very catchy, even if they are not musically of very high quality.
Matthias Reichel from cdstarts.de awards 5 out of 10 points and says about the album that the release of a best-of album is unnecessary and is therefore only suitable for new fans of the band.
