Bengt Baron
Bengt Baron (born March 6, 1962 in Nacka ) is a former Swedish swimmer.
At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow , he was Olympic champion over 100 meters back. He benefited from the Olympic boycott of the Americans and Canadians. Four years later in Los Angeles he won the bronze medal with the 4 x 100 meter freestyle relay and reached three other finals: He took sixth place over 100 meters back, eighth place over 100 meters butterfly and fifth place with the Layer scale.
After his career as a swimmer, he worked for numerous well-known companies and became CEO of Absolut Vodka in 2001 .
