Arno Bieberstein
Arno Bieberstein (born October 23, 1883 in Magdeburg as Arnold Curt Bieberstein ; † July 7, 1918 there ) was a German swimmer .
Bieberstein was the son of Otto Bieberstein and Marie geb. House smoke. During his career, the swimmer , who started for SC Hellas Magdeburg , won the German championships over 100 m back three times in a row at the German championships from 1905 to 1907 . At the Olympic Games in London in 1908 , he won the 100 m back gold medal.
Bieberstein worked as a banker . In 1988 he was inducted into the international swimming pool 's hall of fame .
