Benjamin Bieber (* 1981 in Braunschweig ) is a German actor .

Life

Benjamin Bieber gained his first experience on stage during his school days. At high school he had "performing games" as a subject. As a teenager and at the beginning of his acting training, he played guitar in various rock and punk bands . He started his acting studies at a private drama school, but then moved to the Mozarteum in Salzburg , where he completed his acting studies from 2004 to 2008. Afterwards he was engaged as a guest at the Maxim-Gorki-Theater and the Stadttheater Aachen . From 2008 to 2010 he was a permanent member of the ensemble of the Rostock Volkstheater , where he a. a. played Goethe's Werther and the note in the Shakespeare comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream in a theatrical version .

Afterwards he was part of the ensemble of the Saarbrücken State Theater from the 2010/11 season to 2013 . He made his debut there as Horatio in Hamlet . Here he starred as Karl Moor in Die Räuber (2011/12 season, director: Thomas Schulte-Michels ), as Oskar in Tales from the Vienna Woods and in the title role of Auditor by Nikolai Gogol . At the Saarbrücken State Theater, Bieber founded the musical trio "Die Piloten" together with his fellow actors Ron Zimmering and Johannes Quester , in which he stood out as a singer.

This was followed by guest engagements at the Deutsches Theater Berlin (2014), several times at the Monbijou Theater in Berlin (2014/15), at the Vorarlberger Landestheater Bregenz (2015) and at the Mainfrankentheater Würzburg (2016). In 2017 Bieber appeared at the Saarbrücken State Theater as Maik in the revival of the Tschick production.

Benjamin Bieber also stood in front of the camera for film and TV roles. He took on his first film work while studying acting, for example in the feature film Autistic Disco , directed by Hans Steinbichler . In 2016, he played the “smart” event manager and young entrepreneur Julius Wenzel in the RTL production Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten . In August / September 2016 (from episode 2515) he was seen in the telenovela Storm of Love in a total of 14 episodes in a series role as the "unscrupulous villain" Lucien Evers.

Benjamin Bieber lives in Berlin.
