Bernd Gögel

Bernd Gögel (born January 9, 1955 in Niefern ) is a German politician ( AfD ). Since March 2016 he has been a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg and since December 2017 parliamentary group leader of the AfD parliamentary group as the successor to Jörg Meuthen . From February 2019 to February 2020 he was co-state spokesman for the state party alongside Dirk Spaniel .

Life

Gögel attended the Werkrealschule in Pforzheim from 1965 to 1973 . 1973 to 1976 he completed a professional training as a merchant in wholesale and foreign trade . He then did his basic military service in the Bundeswehr in Diez . From 1978 to 1983 he was a substitute market manager in the wholesale trade in Pforzheim, after which he worked as a commercial clerk in the logistics area until he started his own business in 2003 with the forwarding company G 2 Logistik & Service GmbH . He lives in Tiefenbronn -Mühlhausen.

Gögel is a member of the alternative for Germany. He was in the state elections in Baden-Wuerttemberg in 2016 with 19.2 percent of votes in the constituency Enz (Constituency 44) in the state parliament of Baden-Wuerttemberg selected. At the state party conference on February 23, 2019, he was elected spokesman for the state association alongside Dirk Spaniel . He prevailed against Emil Sänze with 380 to 320 votes .
