Oliver Kirchner
Oliver Kirchner (born May 4, 1966 in Magdeburg ) is a German politician ( AfD ). He has been a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt since 2016 and has been parliamentary group leader and opposition leader since the end of March 2018 . Kirchner belongs to the inner-party right-wing extremist group Der Flügel .
Life
Kirchner attended the Polytechnic Oberschule until 1982 and then learned to be a car mechanic . From 1984 to 1990 he worked as a mechanic for material handling equipment . In 1991 he completed further training as a body shop mechanic and was then deputy head of accident vehicle trade until 1998 . In 1996 he finished his apprenticeship as an automobile salesman . In 1999 he started his own business in the motor vehicle trade.
Kirchner is married and has two children.
politics
In 2014 Kirchner joined the AfD. In 2015 he was one of the signatories of the Erfurt resolution , the position paper of the völkisch-nationalist group Der Flügel around Björn Höcke and André Poggenburg .
In the state election in Saxony-Anhalt in 2016 he moved to the first votes as 23.8% Direct candidate of his party in the constituency Magdeburg I (Constituency 10) in the parliament a.
Kirchner is a member of the Council of Elders and also works on the Labor, Social Affairs and Integration Committee. He was initially vice-chairman of his parliamentary group until he was elected as the new AfD parliamentary group chairman in the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt after André Poggenburg announced his resignation in March 2018.
Positions
Kirchner is classified as a "right wing" and belongs to the nationalist movement Der Flügel .
He was noticed, among other things, by membership in right-wing extremist Facebook groups and inflammatory Facebook posts. In one Facebook group Anne Frank was mocked (her picture was mounted on a pizza box under the title “Die Ofenfrische” ), in the other the Holocaust was described as a “ lie ”. Kirchner defended his membership with the fact that he never read the corresponding chats, but only his own speeches have linked to range to generate. He has nothing in common with " unconstitutional things".
On the occasion of the anniversary of the air raid on Magdeburg in 1945 in January 2018, Kirchner demanded that the state parliament “speak out against any attempt to justify these atrocities”.
In February 2018 he called for closer cooperation with the right-wing populist organization Pegida .
