Picturesque work

Bernhard Delsing was an eclectic painter who recorded various styles of classical modernism in oil, with mixed techniques, collages and frottage , and who followed current trends of the 50s to 70s after 1945. He was shaped by the work of Roy Lichtenstein , Robert Rauschenberg and Andy Warhol .

Drawing work

The extensive graphic work that began in 1930 using a variety of techniques is more timeless. He drew Mediterranean travel sketches, Kassel suburbs and landscape motifs.

Building decorations

After 1953 he also received orders for building decorations such as for the Hessian Administrative Court (1953/54), the main train station (1955), Leimborn School (1956), the Stadtbad Mitte (1967), all in Kassel, and the barracks in Wolfhagen (1960).
