Alexander Friedrich Erdmann Bernhard von Prittwitz and Gaffron (born February 6, 1845 at Gut Kasimir , Leobschütz district , Upper Silesia ; † August 12, 1923 ibid) was a Prussian cavalry captain , state elder of Upper Silesia and lord of the Kasimir, Berndau, Bergvorwerk and Annahof estates, all Kr. Leobschütz, and legal knight of the Order of St. John .

Prittwitz came from an old Silesian noble family and was the son of the state elder of the district of Neustadt ( Upper Silesia ) and director of the Upper Silesian state authority Alexander von Prittwitz and Gaffron , lord of the estates of Kasimir, Berndau, Groß-Gläsen and others, and Johanna Freiin von Wallbrunn .

His first marriage was on September 19 or October 1, 1873 at Gut Uhla, Livonia ( Baltic States ) Elisabeth Baronesse Staël von Holstein (* 12/24 October 1855 in Pernau , Livonia; † December 15, 1878 at Gut Kasimir) , the daughter of the Livonian District Administrator and Imperial Russian Chamberlain Reinhold Baron Staël von Holstein, Lord of Uhla and Surri, and the Auguste Freiin von der Pahlen .

Second wife married Prittwitz on 11 July 1881 at Castle Moisdorf, Kr. Jawor ( Lower Silesia ) Hertha Prittwitz and Gaffron (born 27 October 1852 at Gut meadow degrees, Kr. Oels , Lower Silesia; † 10 August 1929 in Gut Kasimir) , the daughter of the royal Prussian chamberlain, major and state elder Wilhelm von Prittwitz and Gaffron, master of the Moisdorf and Wiesegrade estates, and the leocardie Freiin von Hohberg and Buchwald.
