Bernheide is an inhabited part of the municipality Lanz of the Lenzen-Elbtalaue office in the Prignitz district in Brandenburg .

The place is two kilometers southeast of Lanz and eleven kilometers southeast of Lenzen , the seat of the Lenzen-Elbtalaue office. The Bärwinkel residential area is also located in the area of ​​the municipality .

history

According to a description from 1804, the village was previously called Bärenheide and had two estates, as well as a total of 239 residents and 44 campfire sites. The owners of that time are those of Möllendorf and Möllendorf zu Gadow. At that time there were two whole farmers, eight Kossäts, five Büdner, 23 residents, as well as a forester and over 16 acres of wood. The residents were also parished to Cumlosen and the village could be reached by post via Perleberg.
