Bärwinkel is a residential area of the Lanz community of the Lenzen-Elbtalaue office in the Prignitz district in Brandenburg .

The place is four kilometers east-southeast of Lanz and twelve kilometers southeast of Lenzen , the seat of the Lenzen-Elbtalaue office. It lies on the boundary of the inhabited part of the municipality Bernheide .

In a description of the area published in 1804, information about the place is recorded under the entry "In der Silge". Accordingly, there were three separate forest houses and Dutch apartments in the so-called "Silgebruch" at that time, which belonged to the former estates in Lindenberg , Wentdorf and Bärenheide (today's Bernheide). There were a total of 23 residents and three campfire sites. In these records, Möllendorf's cousins ​​are named as owners .
