Company history

bet-at-home.com was founded in December 1999 in Wels, Upper Austria, by Jochen Dickinger and Franz Ömer. In March 2000 the website www.bet-at-home.com went online. The offer initially only comprised internet sports betting . Just two months after the website was launched, the first innovation followed with the launch of the livescore service www.livescore.cc. This required the first redesign of the website www.bet-at-home.com after two years (2002) . With the start of the online casino in November 2005, there was another redesign. A year later (2006) the poker platform started. In 2008, the further expansion of the offer began, which initially brought the new online casino. A short time later, in June 2009, bet-at-home.com launched the Games division. Since September of the same year, live betting has been offered for various sports events .

On October 31, 2012, co-founder Jochen Dickinger ended his functions as managing director and board member at his own request. Michael Quatember was appointed by the Supervisory Board as his successor. The new website went online in August 2013. This was the second relaunch of the offer on www.bet-at-home.com in the company's history. In December 2013, the offer was expanded to include a mobile version. In 2015, the company expanded its product range to include the Virtual division. In August 2016, the company received approval for the regulated market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. They switched to the Prime Standard market segment and were included in the SDAX on February 3, 2017 , which they had to leave again on June 18, 2018. In February 2017, the casino games product group in poker software was launched. In November 2017, the “Games” product line was replaced by “Vegas” and the casino app was introduced.
