Upper course between Dießen and Dettenschwang

The Beurerbach is a 7.3 km long right tributary of the Windach in the area of ​​the market in Dießen am Ammersee in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech .

Upper course

The Beurerbach rises in a wetland west of Bischofsried on the northern slope of the Jungfernberg (694 m).

The stream initially flows in a north-westerly direction through an extensive forest area, before flowing past Pitzeshofen and Dettenhofen in a valley to the east . It is crossed by the bridge of the state road St2056.

Then the Beurer Bach crosses the Landschaftsschgutzgebiet Dette Hofener felt and Hälsle. In front of the hamlet of Oberbeuern, the brook bends west and flows south past Unterbeuern .

A little later it joins the Windach at 628 m from the right .

The approximately 7.3 km long Beurerbach flows about 45 meters below its origin and thus has a mean bed gradient of about 6 ‰.
