Biesen is a district of the town of Wittstock / Dosse in the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district in the north-west of Brandenburg .

Eichenfelde and Heinrichsdorf belong to the district .

The place, in which 520 inhabitants live on an area of 79 ha (as of December 31, 2013), is north of the center of Wittstock / Dosse.

The A 19 runs not far to the west. It joins the north-west and south-east running A 24 at the Wittstock / Dosse motorway triangle to the south .

On December 6, 1993, Biesen was incorporated into the town of Wittstock / Dosse.
