In 1938 a large, representative new reception building was built next to it, and the old train station became a residential building. Both buildings are currently (as of 2013) unused and empty. Only the routes in the direction of Kremmen and Perleberg are still in operation. The depot is located south of the tracks on the side of the station facing away from the city.
