Location of Goldbeck in Brandenburg

Goldbeck is a district of the city of Wittstock / Dosse in the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district in the north-west of Brandenburg . The place, in which 170 inhabitants live on 71 ha (as of December 31, 2013), is located southeast of the center of Wittstock / Dosse. The Dosse , a right tributary of the Havel , flows through the village.

Around 1490 Goldbeck belonged to the Ruppin rule of the Counts of Lindow-Ruppin, which was essentially imperial . In the 16th or 17th century Prignitz came about .

The A 19 runs 4 km to the west. At the Wittstock / Dosse motorway triangle, it joins the A 24 to the north-west and south .
