The Diocese of Goya ( lat. : Dioecesis Goyanensis , span. : Diócesis de Goya ) is in Argentina situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Goya .
history
The Diocese of Goya was founded on April 10, 1961 by Pope John XXIII. built with the papal bull Quotiens amplo from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Corrientes and subordinated to this as a suffragan . On July 3, 1979, the Diocese of Goya gave up parts of its territory to establish the Diocese of Santo Tomé .
