Luis Teodorico Stöckler (born April 12, 1936 in Eichelborn as Dieter Stöckler ) is a German clergyman and emeritus bishop of Quilmes in Argentina .

Life

Luis Teodorico Stöckler was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Paderborn on December 17, 1960 . After pastoral work in Herne and Castrop-Rauxel , he went to Argentina in 1970 as a Fidei donum priest, where he worked in the Lomas de Zamora diocese .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Goya on November 21, 1985 . The bishop of Lomas de Zamora, Desiderio Elso Collino , donated him episcopal ordination on December 17th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Fortunato Antonio Rossi , Archbishop of Corrientes , and Paul Consbruch , Auxiliary Bishop in Paderborn. The inauguration took place on December 21 of the same year.

On February 25, 2002, he was appointed Bishop of Quilmes . Pope Benedict XVI accepted on October 12, 2011 Luis Teodorico Stöckler's resignation due to reasons of age.
