The Roman Catholic Diocese of Quilmes ( lat. : Dioecesis Quilmensis , span. : Diócesis de Quilmes ) is in Argentina situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Quilmes .

history

The diocese of Quilmes was on June 19, 1976 by Pope Paul VI. Erected with the papal bull Ut spirituali Christifidelium utilitati from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of La Plata and the Diocese of Avellaneda . It was subordinated to the Archdiocese of La Plata as a suffragan . On September 26, 2007, the Quilmes diocese was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Buenos Aires as a suffragan.
