Marcelo Julián Margni (born September 12, 1971 in Avellaneda ) is an Argentine clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Quilmes .

Life

Marcelo Julián Margni received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Quilmes on September 24, 1999 .

After further studies he obtained a licentiate in theology with a focus on youth pastoral care and catechesis at the Pontifical Salesian University in Rome . In addition to various tasks in pastoral care, he was episcopal vicar for evangelization and until his appointment as Bishop Regens of the diocesan seminary . He was a member of the priestly council and belonged to the college of consultors .

On December 5, 2017 Pope appointed him Francis to the titular of Sozopolis in Haemimonto and Auxiliary Bishop of Quilmes. The Bishop of Quilmes, Carlos José Tissera , ordained him episcopal on March 16 of the following year . Co- consecrators were the Bishop of La Rioja , Marcelo Daniel Colombo , and the former Bishop of Quilmes, Luis Teodorico Stöckler .
