Marcelo Daniel Colombo (born March 27, 1961 in Buenos Aires , Argentina ) is an Argentine clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Mendoza .

Life

Marcelo Daniel Colombo received on 16 December 1988, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On May 8, 2009, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Orán . The bishop of Quilmes , Luis Teodorico Stöckler , donated him episcopal ordination on August 8 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Salta , Mario Antonio Cargnello , and the Bishop of Lomas de Zamora , Jorge Rubén Lugones SJ . The inauguration took place on August 22, 2009.

On July 9, 2013, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of La Rioja . On May 22, 2018, the Pope appointed him Archbishop of Mendoza. The inauguration took place on August 11th of the same year.
